Base broke after less than 200 square feet of tile. May do great for thinner or skinnier planks, but when using it on 8” or wider high quality planks there is too much of the blade touching the plank at once in the last half of the cut, so you really have to apply a lot of force. In other words, the first part of the cut the blade cuts like scissors, but as it comes down it becomes more of a guillotine cutter, which requires a lot of force and ships the plank.
