The Golden Avenger swiftly intervenes, and after comparing notes with Captain Jean Dewolff, the heroes realize a serial bomber is at large. The villain strikes at the 37th Precinct, but the web-slinger’s uncanny senses lead to a fierce battle against the mysterious Wraith. This issue marks the first appearances of Captain Jean Dewolff and The Wraith, and a 30-cent cover price variant exists. It also includes a full-page ad for Hostess Twinkies featuring Captain America vs. The Red Skull.
